Introduction to the Benchmark Report |
The Benchmark Report allows ALERT IIS users to retrieve a list and count of patients who have met an immunization benchmark or predefined series of benchmarks. The resulting report may be viewed in ALERT IIS, exported as a text file, or exported as a spreadsheet.

Selecting this option will return only patients who have been immunized at the selected site. |

Selecting this option will return all patients residing in the displayed county. This report will not exclude patients based on if a patient is active within your organization or not. This option is only available to county providers. |

Patient Benchmark Options |
Description |
Patients who DID meet the benchmark |
The population will be limited to patients patients who met the benchmark(s) defined in the Select Benchmark table. |
Patients who did NOT meet the benchmark |
The population will be limited to patients who did not meet the benchmark(s) defined in the Select Benchmark table. |
All patients, regardless of whether they met the benchmark or not |
The population will be limited to patients meeting the criteria defined in the Select Benchmark table. |
Select Age or Birth Date Range Options |
Description |
Less than or equal to 72 months old |
The population will be limited to patients who are less than or equal to 72 months old as of the evaluation date. |
Birth date range |
The population will be limited to patients who have a birth date in this range. |
Age range |
The population will be limited to patients within this age range as of the evaluation date. |

Standard Assessment |
The standard benchmark report will be generated. |
Assess Patients with Sufficient Refusal History as Covered |
The standard benchmark report will be generated however will count patients with sufficient refusal comments as being considered up-to-date. In order for patient refusals of vaccine to be calculated correctly on the benchmark report, an appropriate Applies-To-Date must be entered for refusal comments on the Patient Comments tab. |

Date Field |
The evaluation date that the Benchmark Report uses to determine the cohort for the report. The evaluation date also limits immunizations considered for the report. No immunizations given after the evaluation date are included in the evaluation. |

Number of doses of DTaP at the specific age at which the Immunization benchmark will be taken. |

Number of doses of Hib at the specific age at which the Immunization benchmark will be taken. |
MMR |
Number of doses of MMR at the specific age at which the Immunization benchmark will be taken. |
Polio |
Number of doses of Polio at the specific age at which the Immunization benchmark will be taken. |
Pneumo |
Number of doses of Pneumo at the specific age at which the Immunization benchmark will be taken. |
Varicella |
Number of doses of Varicella at the specific age at which the Immunization benchmark will be taken. |

Number of 4 DTaP, 3 Polio, 1 MMR, 3 Hib, 3 HepB, and 1 Varicella doses at the specific age at which the Immunization benchmark will be taken. |
To select one or more single vaccine benchmarks within a single row, click the box where the vaccine and the number of months intersect. For example, clicking the box with "4" in it where "DTaP" and "@ 19 months" intersect will result in a report with this benchmark included.
To select all benchmarks in a row, you may click on the first box in the row that indicates "@ X months".
To select benchmarks in a predefined series, select one of the 431, 43133, or 431331 combinations at the bottom of the table.

Clicking the Generate button will run the selected Benchmark report and display the Benchmark Report Results screen. |

Clicking the Clear Selection button will clear the selections that have been made in the Age Specific Immunization Benchmarks and the Aggregate Outcomes Benchmarks tables. |

Clicking the Cancel button will return the user to the previous page. |
